Knights Valley Malbec

Our Malbec grows in Knights Valley, a tea cup-shaped area between Napa and Alexander Valleys. It is surrounded by mountains, which keeps mornings cooler and warm days longer, producing high-color reds with forward structure. This wine has aromas of red cherries, black figs, blackberries, and plums, with hints of cinnamon stick and cardamon. Dark plum, blood orange and ripe pomegranate intermingle with red chili pepper flavors. There is also citrus zest in the palate, mixed with some intriguing red earthy notes. The tannins are forward but not aggressive, showing its aging potential.
